it does make the process of tamping your coffee on the work surface much more pleasant. Really recommend people get one. I guess they are all much of a muchness but this works for me and has stood the test of time so far. Certainly wouldn't pay more. Nice product.

Nice little rubber pad. Makes clean up very simple, nice place to set the tamp and very affordable.

Product feels of good quality and nice to use & touch. Does the job of protecting the counter top and the portafilter when tamping. Bonus! - it can also double as a mouse mat, due to its very smooth surface.
