Premium handle

I've been making espresso for years but was never quite sure how hard to tamp. I got this partly to practice the correct tamping weight as I've already got a great tamper. But I use this as well. I think it is great and highly recommend it. It is a great price too, why pay more?
I bought this tamper for use with the 58mm portafilter that fits my Sage/Breville Dual Boiler machine.
The tamper the machine came with works, but it’s small, not a perfect fit for the portafilter and it’s handle is starting to hurt my hands.
This tamper however is absolutely fantastic. It’s big, it’s heavy, the calibrated spring is a nice feature and the machined stainless steel is high quality.
Unlike the included sage tamper, this is also a near perfect fit for the 58mm portafilter.
A must have upgrade. This is leaps and bounds ahead of what all machines come with!
Product works this advertised. Could have slightly larger shelf for fingers at the base of the handle. Could also offer option and wood. So suggestions aren't worth taking a star off though.
Great quality tamper for a superb price. Please bare in mind if you're having trouble getting a good tamp or shot of coffee, it's largey dependant on BOTH your grind AND tamp. This will fight half the battle, just make sure your grind is on point and it'll work a treat all round. Don't push too hard down thinking you need to put loads of weight into it before you hear the 'click'. Slowly press it down until it clicks then release, don't over press.
