So I had great success with this Vertuo pod refill kit. Part of the reason is this one has the top that not only helps to seal it but more importantly acts as a funnel! This is critical because you have very little if any grounds left on the pod rim where the seal will go.
I bought my wife a Nespresso Vertuo for Christmas last year and it was a hit! At least until the pods that came with it (it was a set from Costco) ran out and we realized just how much we were spending per cup of coffee. This kit from Useamie was a great solution to this problem. The upfront cost is a little high, but it works out to less than 50¢/cup (down from about $1.30/cup).*What I liked*:This kit is awesome! It’s got everything you need to refill existing used pods. It even has a way to make sure the new foil seal is tamped down tight.As mentioned above, probably my favorite thing about this kit is that it reuses the pods we got from Nestle. This isn’t my first refill kit. The last one I had relied on a special reusable pod. Well, it only took like a week and a half for that to get accidentally recycled with the other pods (we still used a mix of the remade pods and new ones). We don’t have to worry about that, as we’re recycling these pods anyway. FIve stars out of five. I’d totally order this kit over again, and in fact we do order more foil as needed.
