Protects my wood coffee bar surface from tamping with my flair hand espresso machine. I also use it for keeping moister off of my wood finish when I am brewing a pourover (even though that is a secondary use case).
It is thick enough for all my needs and would be good in a coffee shop or for home use. Great price for me.

Wish I had bought this from the onset as I’ve had it now several months and it still looks brand new! A good thickness to soften tampering, easily cleans in the dishwasher. Certainly would recommend.
