This product is a game changer! No more wasted coffee and so easy to tamper the grinds down!
I've recently bought a Sage Barista Pro and one of the main problems I had was spilling a lot of the ground coffee when taking it from the grinder to tamp it down. This little gadget fits on to the portafilter which you then insert into the grinder as normal. It means you don't spill any coffee when tamping and it's made a huge difference to the whole process. Just remove the dosing funnel before you insert into the brewhead. This is well made out of what I assume is machined aluminium and the colour makes it look like part of the portafilter. Definitely something to buy if you have one of the Sage barista machines.
Great little extra
When I first purchased my machine I looked for something like this and could only find 3d printed ones. The reviews weren’t great so I held off and used a dosing cup.
I later found this for somewhere around £15 and thought I’d give it a go. It’s a good tight fit for the Sage Barista Express portafilter and helps keep a cleaner machine.
I would definitely recommend this.
