Fits my Breville Barista Pro portafilter like a glove, catches all the grinds and keeps them in while tamping. Would be nice if it was chrome to match the rest of the portafilter but that's just an aesthetic thing.
As you can see from the photos it looks neat and stops any coffee ground spillage. Stick it on the portafilter, press it into the grinding cradle, out comes your grinds, take it out, tamper the grinds, and just take it off again before fitting the portafilter into the grouphead.
I am using this on a Breville Barista Express’s portafilter. Fits nicely, being aluminum makes it lightweight and easy. I used to grind double shot using single shot amount twice by pressing in between to avoid overflow. This attachment simply saved me wasting coffee and messing around the espresso machine.
Easy to use. Prevents grinds from spilling out. Does it's job and it's will priced.
Best thing I purchased for my Breville machine. No more wasted coffee. It's a very snug fit but otherwise it works as intended. Love this.
